Lager Anyone?

On a lighter note, lagers first come to mind! A light, easy drinking beer that pairs well with nearly any menu and venue. As the “utility infielder” of the beer varieties, it is a great option and a favorite for it’s smooth, refreshing taste and versatility for any occasion.

Lager is made with malted barley and fermented at low temperatures beginning it’s evolution in Bavaria. Its genesis is a type of yeast called Saccharomyces Eubayanus first discovered in Patagonia. It has since evolved with hybrid variations.

It is available in four basic categories that include a Pale Lager (most popular), Vienna Lager, Dark Lager, and Custom Lagers. Because of its flexibility, it is able to make many different styles and flavors within the lager category. Adding adjuncts like spices or fruit flavors always makes it it a very appealing beer that has been shown in its staying power.
